As we have laid our foundation as a brick & mortar medical practice, we decided to bring some much needed experience, expertise, and medical ethics to the online telehealth marketplace. What if I have a medical emergency or medical problem?
For all life-threatening emergencies, please dial 911. In certain situations, we understand that Urgent Care or an ER physician may need to reach us. In that case, and in all non-urgent cases, please reach out to your liaison or call our number (1-223-294-1196) and our on-call doctor will be immediately notified via text message. This is what sets us apart. If you have a problem that requires an ER visit, we will be there with you to provide support and any necessary documentation -- because your safety comes first.

Maggie is responsible for our second-to-none patient care and is dedicated in crafting that know-how into an amazing telehealth experience.

Dr. Linda Brown, M.D.
Expert in metabolic health and pharmacotherapy, Dr. Brown is an absolute expert in how GLP-1 medications affect the body. Dr. Brown has over 45 years of practice experience as a Nephrologist at UPenn. Dr. Brown is an amazing patient advocate and believes the best method to reach success is education. When she is not with a patient she is reading studies and keeping current on GLP-1 breakthroughs.
Social Media Manager
Naz Ashripijou
Naz began in aesthetics as a Certified Strawberry Laser Technician and is also PWC's Social Media Manager and resident influencer. Naz's patients achieve amazing results because Naz focuses on client satisfaction and generating content, keeping our patients engaged and focused on their goals. Naz will always click "like, follow, and subscribe" to all dogs and even created 4-legged brag board in the KOP office where patients can post pictures of their own furbabies!

Kristen Wolfer
Kristen is PWC's satellite Office Manager. She started as a Certified Strawberry Laser Technician with PWC and her role has grown with her enthusiasm. With 10 years in aesthetics, she uses her bubbly personality to build strong relationships that ensure all our patients receive the support, care, and encouragement to be as successful as possible.

Dr. William Strowhouer, D.O.
With over 40 years of experience, "Dr. Bill" is the founder and Medical Director of Physicians Weight Control. He is not just a regional expert in non-surgical Bariatric Medicine, he is nationally renowned for his knowledge and experience. He is also a US Army Special Force Veteran & worked for the FBI prior to his education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine PCOM.

Dr. Avetian is our telehealth expert and has 20 years experience in telehealth and 35 years in medicine. He was practicing telehealth with Temple Medicine before Covid and telehealth became mainstream. He is knowledgeable on telehealth practices and concise & thorough in his online visits.
